Shipping and Fulfillment

We offer discounted shipping for $5. This is going to be the most cost effective method for us to ship your order, and will generally not be the fastest. This is the same method we will use to ship if you qualify for a "free shipping" promotion. If your order is time sensitive, understand that the free option may not be the best option for you.

We try to get orders out as quickly as possible, however we are a small company and it may take a day or two for us to fulfill and ship order. If you absolutely need your Winosaurs by a certain date, please let us know in your order comments.

Hot Weather

Winosaurs are cold-blooded; they don't handle extreme temperatures very well and the back of a box truck can get pretty hot. We've found that if it's over 75F during the day, then it's hot enough to melt candy during the shipping process.

During the summer months we ship your Winosaurs prepared for hot weather, using insulated mailers and moisture-resistant cold packs. This packaging is expensive, but necessary for the order to arrive safely. There is an additional charge automatically added to your shipping quote to cover some of the additional cost of shipping materials.

Ice still doesn't last forever. To help your order survive the trip, we may delay shipping to avoid packages sitting undelivered over the weekend or during holidays.

Here are some things you can do to help your Winosaurs arrive safely:

  • Choose a fast shipping method. Overnight is best, but can be expensive.
  • Be there to receive your package. While it is hot in the back of a truck, it can be just as hot sitting out in the sun.
